New Mexico High School Basketball - Frenship overwhelms Portales

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX) and the host Portales Rams (Portales, NM), saw Frenship's basketball squad wallop Portales by a tally of 54-25.

With the victory, Frenship improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Amarillo (Amarillo, TX) to play the Sandies in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 19. The Sandies come into the challenge with a record of 16-2. Amarillo won 62-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Idalou (Idalou, TX)

Next up, the Rams play the Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Portales will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 57-35 non-league loss to Panhandle (Panhandle, TX).
