The Hillcrest Patriots basketball team (Tuscaloosa, AL), was overwhelmed 65-39 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA)

The Knights now possess a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoover for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 17. River Ridge will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 77-51 non-league win over Archer (Lawrenceville, GA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 16-0.

The Patriots (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Pelham (Pelham, AL). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Pelham was overwhelmed by Hoover (Hoover, AL), 73-40, in a non-league battle.
