Virginia High School Basketball - James River Midlothian trounces Westfield
December 16, 2022: Chantilly, VA 20151 The James River Midlothian Rapids (Midlothian, VA) basketball crushed the host Westfield Bulldogs (Chantilly, VA), 62-35 in Friday's non-league test.
The Rapids (8-0) will now prepare for their test against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Bruins go into the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Lake Braddock was trounced by West Springfield (Springfield, VA), 53-47, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to George C. Marshall for a non-league test on Monday, December 19. Westfield will encounter a Statesmen squad coming off a 62-27 non-league loss to Oakton (Vienna, VA). The Statesmen record now stands at 1-6.
