Georgia High School Basketball - Morrow overwhelmed by Veterans
December 16, 2022: Kathleen, GA 31047 The Veterans Warhawks basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Morrow Mustangs to 29 in the Warhawks non-league victory on Friday.
The Warhawks now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Laurens for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. Veterans will battle a Raiders team coming off a 59-21 non-league loss to Central (Macon, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-4.
The Mustangs (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Vernon (Atlanta, GA). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Mount Vernon Coretta Scott King YWLA (Atlanta, GA), 0-0, in a non-league contest.
