New Jersey High School Basketball - Ocean Township tops Neptune
December 16, 2022: Neptune, NJ 07753 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Ocean Township Spartans (Oakhurst, NJ) and the host Neptune Scarlet Fliers (Neptune, NJ), saw Ocean Township's basketball squad knock off Neptune by a tally of 44-32.
With the victory, Ocean Township improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ) to play the Griffins in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Griffins come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Donovan Catholic lost 48-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Jackson Memorial (Jackson Township, NJ)
Next up, the Scarlet Fliers play the Point Pleasant Boro Panthers (Point Pleasant, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 19. Neptune will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 50-39 non-league win over Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ).
