December 16, 2022: Wake Forest, NC 27587 In Friday's non-league outing, the Oak Forest Warriors (Wake Forest, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Oxford Prep Griffins (Oxford, NC), by a count of 60-22.
With the win, Oak Forest upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Warriors host Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, VA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Brunswick Academy won 39-15 in their recent non-league bout against Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC)
Next up, the Griffins play the Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Oxford Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Firebirds go into the bout with a 11-0 record after their 62-38 non-league win over Vance County (Henderson, NC).
