Oregon High School Basketball - Vernonia falls to Western Christian
December 16, 2022: Salem, OR 97304 In Friday's non-league match, the host Western Christian Pioneers basketball team scored a good 38-25 triumph over the Vernonia Loggers.
In their next game, the Pioneers meet the Willamina Bulldogs (Willamina, OR) in a 2A Tri-River match, on Wednesday, January 4. Western Christian will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record.
With the defeat, Vernonia moves to 2-3 on the year. The Loggers travel to Nestucca (Cloverdale, OR) to meet the Bobcats in a 2A Northwest match on Thursday, January 12. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 3-3.
