December 16, 2022: Southern Pines, NC 28387 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) and the host Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC), saw Cardinal Gibbons's basketball squad wallop Pinecrest by a count of 59-13.
With the victory, Cardinal Gibbons upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Millbrook (Raleigh, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 19. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Patriots play the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 19. Pinecrest will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 30-22 league win over Chambers (Charlotte, NC).
