North Carolina High School Basketball - Watauga topped by Lake Norman
December 16, 2022: Mooresville, NC 28117 The Lake Norman Wildcats basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Watauga Pioneers to 49 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to A.L. Brown for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. Lake Norman will battle a Wonders team coming off a 57-29 non-league loss to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Wonders record now stands at 5-1.
The Pioneers (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Davie (Mocksville, NC). The War Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Davie dropped by Reagan (Pfafftown, NC), 64-52, in a non-league contest.
