Illinois High School Basketball - Roosevelt nips Steinmetz College Prep
December 16, 2022: Chicago, IL 60634 Roosevelt Rough Riders (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Steinmetz College Prep Silver Streaks (Chicago, IL), 48-42 in a league bout.
With the victory, Roosevelt upgrades its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Rough Riders host Lake View (Chicago, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 6-3.
Next up, the Silver Streaks play the Ogden International (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Steinmetz College Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 62-46 league loss to Raby (Chicago, IL).
