California High School Basketball - Washington Union thwarts Roosevelt
December 16, 2022: Fresno, CA 93706 The Washington Union Panthers (Fresno, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders (Fresno, CA), 52-40 in Friday's non-league test.
The Panthers (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Sanger (Sanger, CA). The Apaches go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Sanger notched a victory over Edison (Fresno, CA), 56-53, in a non-league test.
The Rough Riders now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Edison for a non-league test on Saturday, December 17. Roosevelt will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 55-44 non-league win over Kingsburg (Kingsburg, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-4.
