South Dakota High School Basketball - Aberdeen Central nips Sturgis Brown
December 16, 2023: Aberdeen, SD 57401 Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles (Aberdeen, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD), 61-58 in a league bout.
With the victory, Aberdeen Central upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Yankton (Yankton, SD) to play the Bucks/Gazelles in a AA bout on Thursday, December 21. The Bucks/Gazelles come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Yankton lost 79-44 in their recent league bout against Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD)
Next up, the Scoopers play the Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD) in a AA bout, on Friday, December 29. Sturgis Brown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
