Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles (Aberdeen, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD), 61-58 in a league bout.

With the victory, Aberdeen Central upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Yankton (Yankton, SD) to play the Bucks/Gazelles in a AA bout on Thursday, December 21.
