New Jersey High School Basketball - South Amboy overwhelms Belvidere
December 16, 2023: South Amboy, NJ 08879 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the South Amboy Governors (South Amboy, NJ) and the visiting Belvidere County Seaters (Belvidere, NJ), saw South Amboy's basketball squad wallop Belvidere by a count of 70-45.
With the victory, South Amboy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Governors host Dunellen (Dunellen, NJ) to play the Destroyers in a Greater Middlesex - Gold challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Destroyers come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Dunellen lost 43-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Roselle Park (Roselle Park, NJ)
Next up, the County Seaters play the Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ) in a Skyland - Valley challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Belvidere will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 58-49 non-league loss to Point Pleasant Boro (Point Pleasant, NJ).
