Louisiana High School Basketball - Richwood holds off Bolton
December 16, 2023: Alexandria, LA 71301 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Richwood Rams (Monroe, LA) and the host Bolton Bears (Alexandria, LA), saw Richwood's basketball squad hold off Bolton by a tally of 47-42.
With the victory, Richwood improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Rams host Red River (Coushatta, LA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Red River lost 55-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Airline (Bossier City, LA)
Next up, the Bears confront the JS Clark Leadership Academy Bulldogs (Opelousas, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Bolton will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 48-42 non-league loss to Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA).
