New Jersey High School Basketball - Cannon fells Immaculate Conception
December 16, 2023: Montclair, NJ 07042 Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Immaculate Conception Lions (Montclair, NJ), 71-62 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cannon upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Montverde Academy (Montverde, FL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Montverde Academy won 58-46 in their recent non-league bout against AZ Compass Prep National (Chandler, AZ)
Next up, the Lions play the East Side Red Raiders (Newark, NJ) in a Super Essex - American bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Immaculate Conception will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 66-24 league loss to Arts (Newark, NJ).
