December 16, 2023: Rock Rapids, IA 51246 The Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots basketball team (Hills, MN), was overwhelmed 76-46 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Central Lyon Lions (Rock Rapids, IA)
The Lions now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sibley-Ocheyedan for a Siouxland battle on Tuesday, December 19. Central Lyon will confront a Generals team coming off a 82-20 league loss to MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA). The Generals record now stands at 0-6.
The Patriots (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Edgerton (Edgerton, MN). The Flying Dutchmen come into the A Section 3 battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Edgerton was overwhelmed by Windom (Windom, MN), 86-45, in a non-league battle.
