Washington High School Basketball - Cheney fells Shadle Park
December 16, 2023: Cheney, WA 99004 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Cheney Blackhawks (Cheney, WA) and the visiting Shadle Park Highlanders (Spokane, WA), saw Cheney's basketball squad overcome Shadle Park by a tally of 61-52.
With the victory, Cheney improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to Monroe (Monroe, WA) to confront the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Monroe won 76-52 in their recent league challenge against Cascade (Everett, WA)
Next up, the Highlanders confront the Medical Lake Cardinals (Medical Lake, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Shadle Park will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 73-35 non-league loss to St. George's (Spokane, WA).
