Georgia High School Basketball - East Forsyth overwhelmed by Dawson County
December 16, 2023: Dawsonville, GA 30534 The Dawson County Tigers basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting East Forsyth Broncos to 44 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Flowery Branch for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Dawson County will battle a Falcons team coming off a 55-26 non-league win over Forsyth Central (Cumming, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-8.
The Broncos (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Johnson (Gainesville, GA). The Knights come into the AAAA Region 8 contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Johnson was routed by North Hall (Gainesville, GA), 75-44, in a league contest.
