Illinois High School Basketball - Dixon overwhelms Woodstock North
December 16, 2023: Dixon, IL 61021 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses (Dixon, IL) and the visiting Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL), saw Dixon's basketball squad wallop Woodstock North by a tally of 84-40.
With the victory, Dixon improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Dukes & Duchesses host Geneseo (Geneseo, IL) to play the Maple Leafs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Maple Leafs come into the challenge with a record of 1-10. Geneseo lost 53-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Davenport North (Davenport, IA)
Next up, the Thunder play the McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 23. Woodstock North will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
