High School Basketball - DME Academy thwarts Varsity Opponent
December 16, 2023: , The DME Academy DME Academy (Daytona Beach, FL) basketball knocked off the host Varsity Opponent (, ), 58-41 in Saturday's non-league test.
The DME Academy (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Hillcrest Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Bruin go into the non-league test with a 18-0 record. In their last test, Hillcrest Prep notched a victory over Varsity Opponent (, ), 118-59, in a league test.
The now own a 175-622 record. They play next when they travel to Eduprize Open for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16. Varsity Opponent will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 94-69 non-league win over Paragon Academy (Chandler, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 11-0.
