December 16, 2023: Fayetteville, AR 72701 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Fayetteville Bulldogs (Fayetteville, AR) and the visiting Maumelle Hornets (Maumelle, AR), saw Fayetteville's basketball squad overcome Maumelle by a tally of 51-39.
With the victory, Fayetteville improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Northside (Fort Smith, AR) to confront the Grizzlies in a 6A West challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Northside lost 53-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Russellville (Russellville, AR)
Next up, the Hornets confront the ESTEM Mets (Little Rock, AR) in a 5A Central challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Maumelle will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record.
