Virginia High School Basketball - King's Fork holds off Forest Park
December 16, 2023: Woodbridge, VA 22193 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) and the host Forest Park Bruins (Woodbridge, VA), saw King's Fork's basketball squad hold off Forest Park by a tally of 60-55.
With the victory, King's Fork improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic (Drexel Hill, PA) to confront the Friars/Pandas in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 23. The Friars/Pandas come into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
Next up, the Bruins confront the Charles J. Colgan Sharks (Manassas, VA) in a Eastern challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Forest Park will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Sharks come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 53-48 league loss to Woodbridge (Woodbridge, VA).
