Fortuna Huskies (Fortuna, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Valley Christian Lions (Roseville, CA), 88-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fortuna upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Huskies travel to South Fork (Miranda, CA) to clash with the Cubs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Cubs go into the bout with a record of 9-2. South Fork won 45-35 in their recent non-league bout against Averroes (Fremont, CA)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Madison Park Academy Trojan-Warriors (Oakland, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Valley Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record.
