Iowa High School Basketball - New London nips GMG
December 16, 2023: New London, IA 52645 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the New London Tigers (New London, IA) and the visiting GMG Wolverines (Garwin, IA), saw New London's basketball squad hold off GMG by a count of 60-59.
With the victory, New London upgrades its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Regina (Iowa City, IA) to play the Regals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Regals come into the challenge with a record of 5-2.
Next up, the Wolverines play the Baxter (Baxter, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. GMG will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 69-54 non-league loss to Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA).
