The Western Branch Bruins ran past the host Granby Comets basketball team by a final score of 70-53 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bruins face the Salem Sundevils (Virginia Beach, VA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 21. Western Branch will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record.

With the defeat, Granby moves to 4-4 on the year. The Comets host Manor (Portsmouth, VA) to face the Mustangs in a Eastern game on Friday, December 22. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 2-5.
