With the victory, High Island improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Danbury (Danbury, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 22. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-11. Danbury lost 42-26 in their recent league challenge against Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX)
Next up, the Panthers play the DeQuincy Tigers (DeQuincy, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Starks will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 55-42 non-league loss to Westlake (Westlake, LA).
