Kentucky High School Basketball - Tates Creek overwhelmed by Highlands
December 16, 2023: Fort Thomas, KY 41075 The Highlands Bluebirds basketball team scored 87 points and restricted the visiting Tates Creek Commodores to 60 in the Bluebirds non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bluebirds now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walton-Verona for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Highlands will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 77-42 non-league win over Collins (Shelbyville, KY). The Bearcats record now stands at 6-3.
The Commodores (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sayre (Lexington, KY). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Sayre triumphed over Western Hills (Frankfort, KY), 70-58, in a non-league contest.
