Ohio High School Basketball - Hillsboro tops Waverly
December 16, 2023: Waverly, OH 45690 Hillsboro Indians (Hillsboro, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Waverly Tigers (Waverly, OH), 44-26 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Hillsboro upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Batavia (Batavia, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 7-1. Batavia won 72-67 in their recent non-league bout against Eastern (Sardinia, OH)
Next up, the Tigers play the Western Indians (Latham, OH) in a Southern Ohio II bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Waverly will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 72-46 league loss to Valley (Lucasville, OH).
