Missouri High School Basketball - Jefferson knocked off by Red Bud
December 16, 2023: Festus, MO 63028 The Red Bud Musketeers basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Jefferson Blue Jays to 52 in the Musketeers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Musketeers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carlyle for a Cahokia - Illinois contest on Tuesday, December 19. Red Bud will meet a Indians/Lady Indians team coming off a 40-38 league win over Wesclin (Trenton, IL). The Indians/Lady Indians record now stands at 8-1.
The Blue Jays (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bayless (St. Louis, MO). The Bronchos enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Bayless was defeated by Priory (St. Louis, MO), 64-34, in a non-league contest.
