The Kennedy Cougars basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Mira Loma Matadors to 49 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burbank for a Metropolitan Conference contest on Wednesday, December 20. Kennedy will battle a Titans team coming off a 67-45 non-league win over Fortune Early College (Sacramento, CA). The Titans record now stands at 7-3.

The Matadors (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Highlands (North Highlands, CA). The Scots come into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Highlands was defeated by Oakmont (Roseville, CA), 88-33, in a non-league contest.
