Kermit Yellow Jackets (Kermit, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host New Way Christian Academy Eagles (Odessa, TX), 77-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kermit upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets travel to Stanton (Stanton, TX) to play the Buffaloes in a 3A Region I District 4 bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Buffaloes come into the bout with a record of 6-10. Stanton won 61-47 in their recent non-league bout against Sonora (Sonora, TX)
