New Jersey High School Basketball - Voorhees tops Koinonia Academy
December 16, 2023: Glen Gardner, NJ 08826 Voorhees Vikings (Glen Gardner, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Koinonia Academy (Plainfield, NJ), 52-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Voorhees upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host The Pingry School (Martinsville, NJ) to play the Big Blue in a Skyland - Valley bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Big Blue come into the bout with a record of 1-1. The Pingry School won 83-34 in their recent non-league bout against Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ)
Next up, the play the Golda Och Academy (West Orange, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Koinonia Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
