December 16, 2023: Monona, IA 52159 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the MFL MarMac Bulldogs (Monona, IA) and the visiting Lanesboro Burros (Lanesboro, MN), saw MFL MarMac's basketball squad wallop Lanesboro by a tally of 68-45.
With the victory, MFL MarMac improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA) to confront the Eagles in a Upper Iowa challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Clayton-Ridge lost 47-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA)
Next up, the Burros confront the Southland Rebels (Adams, MN) in a A Section 1 challenge, on Monday, December 18. Lanesboro will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 58-34 league win over Houston (Houston, MN).
