Illinois High School Basketball - Linton-Stockton crushes North Clay/Clay City
December 16, 2023: Louisville, IL Linton-Stockton Miners (Linton, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Clay/Clay City (Louisville, IL), 71-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Linton-Stockton upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Miners host Shakamak (Jasonville, IN) to clash with the Lakers in a Southwestern Indiana bout on Friday, December 22. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Shakamak won 63-55 in their recent non-league bout against North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN)
Next up, the clash with the Cisne Runnin' Lions (Cisne, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. North Clay/Clay City will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Runnin' Lions go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 56-45 non-league loss to Webber (Bluford, IL).
