California High School Basketball - Loyola can't hold off Mira Costa
December 16, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90006 The Mira Costa Mustangs basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Loyola Cubs to 51 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mustangs now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palos Verdes for a Bay contest on Friday, December 22. Mira Costa will battle a Sea Kings team coming off a 64-63 non-league loss to Orangewood Academy (Garden Grove, CA). The Sea Kings record now stands at 8-5.
The Cubs (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Orange (Orange, CA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-9 record.
