The Tallwood Lions basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Manor Mustangs to 42 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kellam for a Beach contest on Tuesday, December 19. Tallwood will meet a Knights team coming off a 51-50 league loss to Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA). The Knights record now stands at 4-2.

The Mustangs (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Norview (Norfolk, VA). The Pilots enter the Eastern contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Norview nudged Granby (Norfolk, VA), 65-50, in a league contest.
