Illinois High School Basketball - Marion crushes Miller Career Academy
December 16, 2023: Marion, IL 62959 Marion Wildcats (Marion, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Miller Career Academy (St. Louis, MO), 63-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Marion upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL) to clash with the Rams in a South Seven bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Mt. Vernon won 66-61 in their recent non-league bout against Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL)
Next up, the clash with the Olive Branch Conquistadors (Olive Branch, MS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Miller Career Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Conquistadors go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 88-61 league win over Grenada (Grenada, MS).
