The Melba Mustangs basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Royal Knights to 52 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marsing for a 2A Western Idaho contest on Tuesday, December 19.

The Knights (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Toppenish (Toppenish, WA). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Toppenish was nudged by Wapato (Wapato, WA), 72-52, in a league contest.
