Florida High School Basketball - Middleburg holds off Suwannee
December 16, 2023: Middleburg, FL 32068 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Middleburg Broncos (Middleburg, FL) and the visiting Suwannee Bulldogs (Live Oak, FL), saw Middleburg's basketball squad hold off Suwannee by a tally of 54-53.
With the victory, Middleburg improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Broncos host Florida School for the Deaf & Blind (St. Augustine, FL) to confront the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 0-8. Florida School for the Deaf & Blind lost 70-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Trinity Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Lafayette Hornets (Mayo, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 18. Suwannee will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 61-47 league win over Branford (Branford, FL).
