Iowa High School Basketball - Northeast can't hold off Prince of Peace Prep
December 16, 2023: Goose Lake, IA 52750 The Prince of Peace Prep Irish basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Northeast Rebels to 60 in the Irish non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Irish now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Easton Valley for a Tri-Rivers contest on Tuesday, December 19. Prince of Peace Prep will battle a team coming off a 83-41 non-league loss to West Burlington (West Burlington, IA). The record now stands at 1-8.
The Rebels (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Anamosa (Anamosa, IA). The Raiders enter the River Valley contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Anamosa nudged Easton Valley (Preston, IA), 75-38, in a non-league contest.
