Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Piqua Indians (Piqua, OH) and the host Tecumseh Arrows (New Carlisle, OH), saw Piqua's basketball squad hold off Tecumseh by a tally of 60-57.

With the victory, Piqua improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Butler (Vandalia, OH) to confront the Aviators in a Miami Valley - Valley challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Aviators come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Butler won 46-36 in their recent league challenge against Troy (Troy, OH)

Next up, the Arrows confront the Urbana Hillclimbers (Urbana, OH) in a Central Buckeye Conference - Kenton Trail challenge, on Friday, December 22. Tecumseh will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record.
