New Jersey High School Basketball - Waldwick nips Secaucus
December 16, 2023: Secaucus, NJ 07094 Waldwick Warriors (Waldwick, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Secaucus Patriots (Secaucus, NJ), 63-56 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Waldwick upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Warriors host West Milford (West Milford, NJ) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Highlanders come into the bout with a record of 0-2. West Milford lost 60-32 in their recent non-league bout against Clifton (Clifton, NJ)
Next up, the Patriots play the Rutherford Bulldogs (Rutherford, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - National bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Secaucus will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 63-60 non-league win over Emerson (Emerson, NJ).
