West Virginia High School Basketball - University knocked off by Shady Spring
December 16, 2023: Morgantown, WV 26508 The Shady Spring Tigers basketball team scored 70 points and held the host University Hawks to 60 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Fairmont for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Shady Spring will play a Bees squad coming off a 44-36 non-league loss to Charleston Catholic (Charleston, WV). The Bees record now stands at 1-2.
Next up, the Hawks play the Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 20. University will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 72-24 non-league loss to Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV).
