December 16, 2023: San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675 The St. Margaret's Tartans (San Juan Capistrano, CA) basketball nipped the visiting St. Augustine Knights (Laredo, TX), 59-56 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tartans (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Saddleback (Santa Ana, CA). The Roadrunners go into the Orange Coast test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Saddleback was tipped by Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA), 75-61, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Martin for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 19. St. Augustine will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 61-20 non-league loss to Judson (Converse, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 4-14.
