Massachusetts High School Basketball - Taconic trounces Westfield
December 16, 2023: Westfield, MA 01085 The Taconic Thunder (Pittsfield, MA) basketball crushed the host Westfield Bombers (Westfield, MA), 69-20 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Thunder (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Minnechaug Regional (Wilbraham, MA). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Minnechaug Regional was trounced by Agawam (Agawam, MA), 66-55, in a non-league test.
The Bombers now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pittsfield for a non-league test on Monday, December 18. Westfield will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 59-48 non-league win over East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA). The Generals record now stands at 2-1.
