Illinois High School Basketball - Christ the King nips St. Laurence
December 16, 2023: Chicago, IL 60644 Christ the King Gladiators (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL), 45-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Christ the King upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Gladiators travel to Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL) to play the Hurricanes in a bout on Saturday, January 6. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Vikings play the De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. St. Laurence will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
