Illinois High School Basketball - Plainfield East tops Hinsdale South
December 16, 2023: Darien, IL 60561 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) and the host Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL), saw Plainfield East's basketball squad knock off Hinsdale South by a tally of 70-54.
With the victory, Plainfield East improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bengals host Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Hornets play the Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Hinsdale South will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
