December 16, 2023: Johnston, RI 02919 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI) and the visiting North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI), saw Johnston's basketball squad overcome North Providence by a tally of 48-39.
With the victory, Johnston improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI) to play the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
