Louisiana High School Basketball - Anahuac crushes Starks
December 16, 2023: Starks, LA 70661 Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Starks Panthers (Starks, LA), 69-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Anahuac upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to High Island (High Island, TX) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 0-3. High Island lost 1-0 in their recent league bout against Brookeland (Brookeland, TX)
Next up, the Panthers play the Stanley Panthers (Logansport, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Starks will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 61-27 non-league win over Byrd (Shreveport, LA).
