Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bishop Miege Stags (Shawnee Mission, KS) and the visiting McPherson Bullpups (McPherson, KS), saw Bishop Miege's basketball squad hold off McPherson by a tally of 50-46.

With the victory, Bishop Miege improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Stags travel to Grandview (Grandview, MO) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-3.

Next up, the Bullpups confront the Circle Thunderbirds (Towanda, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. McPherson will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 33-16 non-league win over Mulvane (Mulvane, KS).
